The GoSweetSpot Mystics can confirm that Charlotte “Scotty” Manley will head to the UK to join the Leeds Rhinos in Yorkshire, taking the next step in her netball journey.

Mystics Head Coach Tia Winikerei said Charlotte has been a significant part of the Mystics whānau and has made tremendous progress over the past four years.

“Scotty is a massive part of the Mystics whānau. In the past four years, she has made significant ground towards becoming an elite netballer.

“Her journey with the Mystics began as a Marvels player and Mystics training partner before she was elevated into the team in 2025.

“Charlotte has worked incredibly hard. She is an athletic beast and lightning quick, and she showed throughout 2026 just how dangerous she can be on court.

“She is super fun to be around, and we will miss her a lot. We wish Scotty the very best in this next step and fully support her to embrace this experience.”

For Charlotte, her time with the Mystics has been a defining part of her career, and she says the club will always hold a special place in her heart.

“The Mystics has been a home for me for the last four years. Thank you to Tia and Rob for believing in me and giving me opportunities I could have only dreamed of.

“The girls are my sisters, and this team is and always will be my family. I couldn’t have asked for a better club to debut and represent.”

While the Mystics are sad to say farewell, we are incredibly proud of her progression and excited to see her take on this new challenge in the UK.
