With a 3 match series against the Stars Men only weeks away, McInnes says that this squad has, “A
good mix of youth and experience, really exciting skills and some very aerial players, especially at
each end of the court.”

This 2025 squad combines seasoned Net Blacks and Fast5 Men’s players who bring their experience
and flair, and also introduces some new faces who promise to light up the court such as, “Nathan
Wilson, 205cm shooter who will play both GS and GA. Nathan has just returned from the US from a
basketball scholarship and Soane Veatupu who has come through Netball Waitakere U18's and
U20's and is a promising young GA and WA”, who McInnes thinks may be the ones to watch.

Known for playing a fast and entertaining style of netball, McInnes thinks the defining feature of this
Mystics Men’s squad may be their height, “We have a lot of tall timber – 6 players over 190cm tall
which promises to make this series with the 2 point shot even more exciting”.
