Three more names have been added to the Northern Mystics Roster, to complete the team line up for 2014.

Silver Fern and foundation Mystic, Catherine Latu returns for her 7th year with the franchise, alongside Australian Diamond defender Julie Corletto who has signed for 2014.

Making her debut for the Northern Mystics is up and coming defender Temalisi Fakahokotau.

19 year old Fakahokotau, has progressed well through the ranks. 2012 saw her named in both Trans-Tasman, and New Zealand Secondary Schools Squads, followed by Emerging Talent Accelerant Group selection and Netball Northern U23’s.

Northern Mystics Coach Debbie Fuller is pleased with the formula of experience with new young blood in the 2014 line up. “In front of mind, is having a large core group in the team who can be consistent week in and out, and who can be comfortable under long periods of pressure. The mix of both experienced and new young talent is well balanced, hardworking and untested. Over time we will grow combinations understanding and respect for what each athlete brings”.

Mystics CEO Julie Paterson said she is delighted to have the full team named well in advance of the 30 September deadline. This will enable an increased focus on planning for the 2014 season, which is already well underway.
